I was wondering if anyone would know if there is a chance of finding this gear or any other ideas. I took it apart and found that the gear on the vertical shaft has some of the teeth worn off. Then I noticed when I turned the wheel to pull the door closed, it would not close all the way and the wheel on front of the door felt like it was just spinning and not catching. I had a locksmith set me up a combination for the lock and it worked fine. I have a Mosler Vault Door in place at an old Bank building (early 1900s).
